Chinnara Goli Aata | ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಗೋಲಿ ಆಟ

Originally from Davanagere district, Yashasvini S.N. now resides in Bengaluru. A graduate in B.A. Journalism from the University of Mysore, she worked for a year in Mysuru as a reporter at The Times of India and later as a Business Proposal Writer at TCS.

Responding to her daughter's request, “Amma, tell me a new story,” she wrote two delightful children's books titled Chinniya Rajayi and Alilu Seve. Her latest children’s story, Chinnar Goli Aata (The Marble Game of Children), is based on the traditional game of marbles that everyone played during their childhood.

Every page of this charming children’s book is brought to life with vibrant illustrations by Lipti Rao, which are sure to enchant young readers.

ಮೂಲತಃ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯವರಾದ ಯಶಸ್ವಿನಿ ಎಸ್ ಎನ್ ಈಗ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿ. ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಬಿ ಎ ಜರ್ನಲಿಸಂ ಪದವೀಧರೆಯಾದ ಇವರು ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ 'ದಿ ಟೈಮ್ಸ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಿಪೋರ್ಟರ್ ಆಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಟಿಸಿಎಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಸಿನೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಪೋಸಲ್ ರೈಟರ್ ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಗಳ “ಅಮ್ಮ, ಹೊಸ ಕತೆ” ಎಂಬ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗೆ ‘ಚಿನ್ನಿಯ ರಜಾಯಿ’ ಹಾಗೂ ‘ಅಳಿಲು ಸೇವೆ’ ಎಂಬ ಎರಡು ಮುದ್ದಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದ ಇವರು ಈಗ ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಡಿದ ಆಟವಾದ ಗೋಲಿ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಬರೆದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕತೆಯೇ ‘ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಗೋಲಿ ಆಟ’. ಈ ಚಂದದ ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಪ್ರತೀ ಪುಟದಲ್ಲೂ ಲಿಪ್ತಿ ರಾವ್ ಅವರು ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ಬಣ್ಣಬಣ್ಣದ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮೋಡಿ ಮಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲ.
